Notre Dame, a historic landmark that has stood for over 860 years, witnessed the passage of empires, revolutions, and world wars at the core of France’s capital. In 2019, the cathedral was severely damaged by a fire, leaving many in disbelief as the iconic gothic structure appeared irreparable.

Over the course of five years, a dedicated restoration project worth 700 million euros (€700m) was undertaken to revive the church. Soon, it will once again open its doors to the public, symbolizing resilience and rebirth at the heart of Paris.
