Shelter-in-place in effect after University of Oklahoma reports an active shooter is on campus
Police are investigating possible gunshots fired at the University of Oklahoma, which warned on social media that an active shooter was on campus in the city of Norman Friday night.

A few minutes later, another tweet stated that campus police were investigating possible shots fired on campus. Avoid the South Oval area. The tweet from the university stated that people should shelter in place.
The shelter-in place order was still in force as of 10:30 pm CT.
