Smart Beta ETFs Still Growing After Two Decades
Invesco, a financial company, sees growth in the smart beta exchange-traded fund business. Smart beta ETFs are a subset of ETFs that have grown into a roughly $850 billion business.

Since the launch of smart beta ETFs in the early 2000s, this subset of ETFs grew to a business worth $850 billion. Invesco expects to see more growth in the future.

Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF
The "RSP" index, which trades under the ticker RSP, was launched in 2003. It weighed stocks differently from traditional indexes. According to FactSet it has amassed $34 billion in assets. This is up from $18 million at the beginning of 2021.
