Regardless of the accusations made by Democrats, Donald Trump has pledged to continue campaigning for 2024's presidential election.

I wouldn't give up on my dream of being a teacher. It is not my thing. Trump said that on Tuesday, during his first interview after the indictment. For over an hour, he spoke from Mar-A-Lago in Florida with Fox News' Tucker Carlson.

Trump also shared some behind-the scenes details from his New York court appearance last week.

Trump claimed that court personnel became emotional when they tried to put an ex-president through the criminal booking process for the first time ever in American history.

In Manhattan, he pleaded not guilty in court to 34 criminal charges. Trump is charged with falsifying business records, in violation of state law, and in support of an unspecified underlying offense.

The Democrat-led prosecution is a weaponization' of our justice system.

Trump claimed it was the latest in a string of seven-year-old bogus investigations that targeted him. All were intended to undermine his political ambitions.

Trump called Manhattan's criminal charge booking area a "tough, tough place", but said that the court employees were understanding of having to 'do some things'

He called the court employees 'phenomenal', and stated that even though his arraignment was a sad day for America and him, it was beautiful in one sense because of the way the employees treated him.

Trump stated that nothing from his past experiences prepared him for this procedure.

Trump stated that those court employees and the American public can see through the "hoaxes" being made against him.

Trump was under investigation for false accusations that he conspired to win the 2016 election with Russians during his first two years as president, 2017-2019.

Trump said that the investigation had ruined relations between the U.S. and Russia.

'Disinformation'

He was responding to Democrats who claimed that if Trump were to be reelected as Republican presidential nominee, President Joe Biden (or another Democrat) could defeat him in 2024.

Trump stated that they are saying, "So they want to run against Trump." When in reality, they would rather not face him as a presidential candidate." He said that Democrats often speak the "opposite" of what they actually want.

Trump's support has increased since an FBI raid at his Mar-A-Lago home in August. It also grew further after his indictment. Carlson acknowledged that.

He said that support for him has not waned despite his recent speeches and the march 25 rally in Waco (Texas) held under the shadow of the impending indictment.
